LL Johnson "Rooted in Success" Scholarship
The Rocky Mountain Regional Turfgrass Association (RMRTA) has partnered with L.L. Johnson Distributing Company to offer a $5,000 scholarship opportunity to participating colleges, with the scholarship to be awarded during the 2026 RMRTA Annual Conference taking place December 8–10, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado.
The Rocky Mountain Regional Turfgrass Association is proud to announce this scholarship fund generously provided by L.L. Johnson Distributing Company to support students pursuing education and careers in the turfgrass industry.
This scholarship will assist eligible students enrolled in turfgrass-related programs at the following institutions:
• Colorado State University (CSU)
• AIMS Community College
• Front Range Community College
• AIMS Community College
• Front Range Community College
Our shared goal is to invest in the next generation of turfgrass professionals and help students succeed in their educational journey. Please share this information with colleagues and students who are eligible to apply.
Applications are now open, and the submission deadline is October 1, 2026.
Applicants do not need to be present to receive the award; however, we strongly encourage students to attend the conference. The RMRTA Conference provides valuable opportunities for networking, professional development, industry exposure, and connecting with turfgrass professionals from across the region.
Student conference registration is only $20 and includes access to the full conference experience.
Students must present a valid student ID upon arrival.
Registration payment may be made onsite at check-in, or schools may request an invoice for a group of students by contacting admin@rmrta.org.
