Description
Learning Objectives:
- Attendees will learn how to use a dichotomous key for identifying grasses.
- Attendees will understand why turfgrass and weedy grass identification is important for best management practices and turf diagnostics.
- Attendees will use living samples to see botanical features of grass plants.
Presentation Description:
This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of turf and weedy grass identification using real samples. Content will include the steps to identification, why identification is important, and using a plant identification key.
