Description
Attendees will learn how to properly calibrate a spreader, backpack sprayer, and traditional sprayer. How to select the correct nozzle for your sprayer, and the importance of proper calibrations.
This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of equipment setup and proper calibration techniques for spreaders, backpack sprayers, and traditional sprayers. Attendees will learn the essential steps for accurate calibration, including selecting appropriate settings, choosing the correct nozzle, and performing the necessary calculations based on collected data. The session will combine classroom instruction with an outdoor, hands-on demonstration of all three pieces of equipment to reinforce learning. A worksheet will be provided to guide notetaking and assist with completing calibration calculations.
